Hi all we have finished our time in Kempsey motel minding and drove back to the Gold Coast on Monday to catch up with family and tidy a few things up.I have now obtained a Blue card necessary for working in most engineering and construction trades here.
Also recieved our Grey nomads sticker for the caravan so we are official Grey nomads now.
We wiil head off up North Queensland tomorrow probably head to Bunderberg or there abouts for the first night and start on our Northern adventure.
All going well so far with the Falcon towing the caravan well.

Kempsey wildlife
Australia has an abundance of interesting wildlife ,Here are a few pictures including Water Dragons, Galahs, and loraketts I have photographed so far.
The Water Dragon (George) was Hibernating in a back shed ,but there was an unKnown of second one that almost cause me to have heart failure when I disturbed it sunning itself under the door.
(They can move real quick when they need to!!!)

Day2
Day2 Coffs Harbour
Well after a wet night at Yamba we continued on to Coffs Harbour after a quick check of all equipment and hitchings lights etc we Headed off only to be flaged down a few Kms down the road by a man travelling the other way S--- the Top latches, after a quick check and secure no harm done.
Lesson ! Make a check sheet and use, we had been told.
Arrived in Coffs Harbour, booked into Park Beach Motor Camp and set up in a very short time due to a good size concrete pad for the caravan to sit on which allows for easy levelling of the caravan. Went for a quick drive down to the Historical Pier on the Coffs harbour and went for a walk out the end in fairly cold conditions but at least it had stopped raining for a short period.
With the rain starting again we returned to camp to make full use of the free wireless internet connection and reading books – looks like a good night for doing very little.

Yamba
First days Trip to Yamba went well no Dramas ,we saw lots of Nomads heading North. Are we heading the wrong way.Colder further south and lots of water around from recent rain ,but the camp at Yamba was dry when we set up however it rained most of the night.Big 4 camp was nice and handy to town, only oversite was the discovery of no fresh water hose so we used a 20 liter container given to us as a starting out gift (Thanks Dayna)
